- At Ricker and Associates, we help people create formal business plans.
- Our process starts with you asking the right questions, which leads us together to the right numbers, and that creates the need for the right resources (at the right time, for the right reason, with the right outcome in mind).
- The business development resource center has been available, informally, through conversation with our accountants, during the course of creating a formal business plan.
- In 2nd quarter 2009, we partnered with Christy Shore of the Quantum Common Wealth to serve as our Business Development Director. Christy's role is two-fold: she represents our firm in the community AND she is helping us provide business development services to our clients.
- Taking it one step further now in 2010, we worked with the Quantum Common Wealth (QCW) - Stellar Impact Architects, including Christy Shore, to create an 'Open Source Resource Center'.

a: You will have access to open source models for defining your identity, values, vision and mission - and for choosing the right resource for the right reason at the right time - based on community trust, and personal fit. The resource center will introduce you to potential resources we know of, and teach you how to be resourceful on your own!

a: We will help you create a formal business plan, and a roadmap for your business development.
As your 'virtual CFO', we give you Financial Intelligence. We help you get very specific on your key business numbers, your budgets, your tracking and measuring systems, your cashflow projections, your Profit and Loss Statements (monthly, quarterly, annual), and your Balance Sheet. We teach our clients to be forward-thinking and plan ahead for the best possible tax position through our tax planning process. We analyze and prepare individual and business tax returns. We, as a matter of course, provide bookkeeping and general accounting services for a variety of needs, one being self-directed IRA investments into real estate and private equity.

a: We recommend, at a minimum, that you enlist a trusted team of advisors that include a good business attorney, a business coach, an excellent insurance agent specializing in risk management for your type of business, and a financial advisor with a proven track record and access to the right resources.
